ABOUT ME
Well after living in Finland studying engineering I guess I'm done with it and now moving to Berlin to pursuit of happiness. Meaning I aim to be a fully fledged war photographer in the next couple years so far I got first trip to Iraq last year, Myanmar this year and Lebanon in couple months. I would like to refer myself as a geek, a "half ass" scientist. I'm an introvert with hardcore rationality and sometimes extreme emotions. I love adventures such as climbing mountain, camping in the jungle, booking a 1 way ticket to go somewhere new. I like reading book, cooking, rock, jazz and classical music. I love tasty and a bit geeky conversations about life, the universe, traveling, crazy/absurd stories and everything. However most time I prefer staying at home, cooking a good meal, enjoying a book and maybe a good scotch whisky to accompany during cold days in Finland. Life long dream including to have a sailing boat and sail around the world, find a remote island to call home, ride motorbike across the ancient Silk Road, climb at least 1 mountain in the Himalaya which no one has ever climbed before.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe diem
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host whenever I can and hopefully get good karma when I travel. I tend to accept requests with personal info and showing that you actually read what I wrote in my profile. Requests that obviously copy paste and basically looking a place to crash only will definitely receive a no. I will try my best to answer all your messages (even when can't host) as soon as I can and I expect the same thing from surfers. Please be polite and reply/confirm if you are staying or not. I consider it's extremely rude to leave someone hanging, even when you find someone else to host you please send a short message. It's just manner I guess. So be ladies and gentlemen.
