Overview
About Me
I am a silly adventurer who enjoys having fun and creating new life experiences.
Try anything. That's my philosophy. I've lived by it this long, and it's certainly taken me down an interesting path.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I GOT INTRODUCED TO COUCHSURFING
About 6-7 years ago two close friends of mine hosted an Irish gent, who I got to meet and hangout with. I was so impressed with the "couch surfing" system, that I vowed one day to be a part of this wonderful organization.
I love and embrace social interactions and experiments, so naturally this idea was intriguing to me.
Interests
I love being outdoors; hiking, biking, surfing, swimming, playing all sorts of team sports. Recently got into rock climbing and I am hooked!
I enjoy a good movie, or documentary, and love a lively debate about anything .
I enjoy live music, going out and exploring new cities and towns, and having adventures.
I love riding my bike, and learning about/practicing bicycle maintainance.
Farming has helped me appreciate where our food comes from, and I love doing anything related to gardening, horticulture, or farm related. Love getting my hands dirty 😁
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: such a long list, But any clever comedies, quirky dramas, or classic films that are a must-see. Anything by Wes Anderson, Coen Bros., Tarantino, or Scorsese.
Music: Love Classic Rock, but have recently gotten into Indie, Folk, Jazz, Eletronica, Bluegrass and Classical, World Music. Anything with a good beat that I can groove to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbing Masada twice in my lifetime, and both times under intense heat. BTW, the water fountain at the top of the mountain is the best water found on this earth.
Lived and worked on a Community Supported farm for almost three years. (What an incredibly rewarding experience.) I learned the basics about organic farming practices. Living on a 50 acre farms with all types of livestock and vegetation.
Last summer I embarked on a west coast cycling journey. Starting in Vancouver on May 18th and making my way down the coast over six incredible weeks, I ended up in Lompoc CA, where I've been working on a farm for the last few seasons. I was Camping and making new friends along the way, enjoying every moment of the adventure.
People opened up their homes to me in the beginning of my journey. When I was alone, cold, and begging for an excuse to call it quits. for a warm shower and often times food and adventurous stories of their own.
Teach, Learn, Share
