About Me

Hello, I am Jiong Shi, or Joy, from China. I grow up in China, I am a typical Chinese. My father works in a communist party school, which is a government institution to propagate ideologies and cultivate the members of the party, and it is exclusive to civil servants. My mother is also a civil servant. I am the only child mainly because of the one-child policy. As my parents have very opposite characteristics and share very different ideologies of politics and most of the economic issues in daily life, they began to quarrel with each other whenever anyone tried to educate me, well, which gave me pretty much liberty to think critically and independently.
I graduated as a bachelor of economics in China, and later I began to study accounting and finance in Australia, however, as I really didn’t have much interest on these subjects, one year later, I suspended my schooling and went back to China. The experience in Australia was a big brainstorm for me, after working as a Chinese teacher for foreigners for a short time in Beijing, I decided to begin my world trip. Maybe because of the experience overseas and communications with the people from different backgrounds and cultures woke up my consciousness to explore more and understand more of the truth of the world. I began to work as a photographer on a cruise ship, COSTA CROCIERE, the real motive was to travel around the world. I embarked in Cyprus and traveled around several port cities in the Mediterranean, the ship passed the Suez Canal and went through the red sea, after three months touring in middle east countries, the ship sailed through India and several countries in South Asia. After eight months working as a sea woman, I disembarked in Singapore.
I must say working on the ship is a totally different experience comparing doing a trip on a cruise ship. The crew members are from all over the worlds, we live together on a ship for eight months, that was really a rich experience. Very soon after I arrived at the home, I volunteered to work as an English teacher in a martial arts school on a mountain, where the teachers and students are all monks. The prime reason is that I needed an isolated place to rest my mind or to digest the overwhelming information.
Later I applied for a Portuguese course at a federal university in Brazil. Now I am working as an interpreter, I am mainly working on engineering projects initiated by Chinese and Brazilian companies. Well, as I begin to consider the calling of my life sincerely, I feel that my trip has not finished yet. I found my interest in hypnosis therapy (a technic founded by Mrs Dolores Cannon) Now I am a hypnotist, there is nothing mysterious, our body is a miraculous machine, it can fix itself. If you want to experience it, I would like to try it with you;)

Well! I look forward to meeting you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming to Brazil!you know sometimes l criticize lots of Chinese ways as the country I loved so much is changing to be so strange to me, when l met Brazil, l was so happy and so sad, l am happy because finally l found out there are people who totally think different with Chinese, l am sad because l realize actually l am Chinese! Hahaha! Anyway! Yep I AM CHINESE;)

Built a tent by myself and stayed three nights four days inside Patagonia national park to finish the W line hacking. And used natural bathroom to solve the problems, you know.

Played Titanic-open-arms on the front deck of a cruise ship where I worked during the ship passing through the Suez Canal.
