ABOUT ME

Pretty standard Southwest US upbringing instilled in me a love of green chile and long summers. I took the time to poke around in just about every possible field of study before settling on atomic physics, which is how I pass the majority of my time now.

At the age of 19, I rode around Europe on an Indian-made Vespa, and that was the beginning of an unquenchable desire for travel. Fortunately, I've got a very forgiving thesis advisor who gives me the time off to make (subtle) tracks around the world.

Love to meet people outside of my sphere, particularly those that can teach me a word or two of a new and interesting language. Over a baker's dozen beers? Even better.
