ABOUT ME

Hallo!
It is 2 am and i finally decided and found the power to write my profile in english,one more time! :)
I just dont like this language,after i ve fallen in love with german.
I guess,my german has become such an addiction or reflex,my native english speaker friend means i speak english with a german accent,my spanish teacher means i speak spanish with a german accent :D
Unfortunetely not everyone can understand a profile in german so i guess it would be fair to write an english one :)

My name is Şeyma.I was born and grew up in Istanbul.I have just graduated Translation Studies at University of Istanbul with languages german and english.I met cs through a friend and have been here since 2008.
I havent hosted anyone yet but tried staying active with meetings and by showing csers around.
I like foreign languages a lot.German,spanish and greek are my lovers :) I am very interested in Latin America and Greece.I dont know,why :)
I sing everywhere and a lot.Even in greek! :)

Some of my favourites are:die Chirurgin,Blutmale,Vanish,Patasana,Beyoglu Rapsodisi,Der Dativ Ist Dem Genitiv Sein Tod,Kumral Ada Mavi Tuna,Nefes Nefese,Sevdalinka,Engelmörder,Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo(is a classic but i still love it),Der Kleine Prinz,Der Dritte Zwilling,Am Ufer Des Rio Piedra Sass Ich und Weinte and so many others

Films:Politiki Kouzini(it makes me cry everytime),Gegen Die Wand,Im Juli,Goodbye Lenin,Sleepers,Meinhof-Baader Komplex,The English Patient,Soul Kitchen-i think all films of fatih akın.

Music:As a person who sings everywhere and in every way,i like any kind of music that sounds good to me.
But the greek music will be always my first love and first choice :)
i mostly listen to rempetika-laika,roza eskenazi,dalaras,alexiou,vertis,kazantzidis,terzis,tstsanis..
