I am from Karlovac, a town in central Croatia. It's not located too far away from the big cities (50 kilometers from the capital Zagreb, 100 kilometers from Rijeka) and major tourist attractions (100 kilometers from the Adriatic coast, 80 kilometers from Plitvice lakes) and yet it's peaceful and pleasant. It's a good place to stay if you want to explore Croatia, but it also has a lot to offer itself. It lies on four rivers (well, actually, only two of them pass through the town), has beautiful parks and interesting people.

I'm currently an electrical engineering student at the University of Zagreb. My hobbies include homebrewing and vegetable gardening.
