ABOUT ME

I'm a Madrid born guy. I've been living abroad several times but I always come back to my hometown.This is a really addictive city. I am passionate about art, culture and society. And like many people who share this passion I try to make a living from it but it's not an easy task :)... Meanwhile I am really enthusiastic and enjoy a lot discovering new things and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Some years ago I watched a documentary in which a Moroccan storyteller said something like "If you learn to listen to, you'll learn to talk. And if you learn to talk you'll be able to do everything what you want". I like that idea, simply listening to and paying attention -Although I am a talkative guy :) As John Cage said: "There is no such thing as an empty space or an empty time. There is always something to see, something to hear".‎

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing couchs and hosting cs when it's possible. Anyway, I'll be glad of showing you my city if you want. So if you're in town you know drop me a line. I am also available to give you recommendations if you ask me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had met another couchsurfers through friends who introduced me to this web. The experience was always very positive and enriching. So I wanted to join. I hosted several couchsurfers in Martinique, and I surfed in Guadalupe, Trinidad, Dominica, France and Serbia. And it was always awesome!

Meeting new people, wandering, getting lost and discovering new places, talking and going out... Mainly I'm a music lover but I'm always curious to discover new things related to arts and culture in the broadest sense of the term. So you'll find me digging for something new (or old) in: literature, films, performance, politics, history, sociology, and how to live in a better world ... I run away from elitist snobs because anybody can teach you an important lesson.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well... I've seen and done amazing things but maybe I cherish those ones from my stays in the Caribbean. Specially in Dominican Republic and Martinique... So it's hard to choose one, too many... But for example, Trinidad Carnival was so good!!!
