ABOUT ME

Dreamy traveller who love to settle down. I’ve settled in Paris, in Edinburgh (Scotland), in Madrid (Spain), and in Chiang Mai (Thailand). In each place I’ve build myself grabbing a bit of local culture.
I grew up surrounded by art and literature which led me in becoming a reserved software developer from there I when on ERASMUS and turned out to be a crazy social dancer. Now I like big social events just as much as intimate dinner. I’m concerned about the future of AI and I try to grow vegetables on my tiny balcony in Madrid.
A perfect day for me is to wake up early with a hearty and cosy breakfast, spend the day in the nature with a couple of close friends and when night comes fly over the dance floor until the world spin into a dream.
I’m a curious mind and I like to discover new horizon or debate about anything. I can be a bit restless at times, so be careful about putting me together with other restless people it can turns into a supernova.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me traveling is more about leaving a different life for a little while. I like to impregnate myself of a place and experience it as if it was my everyday routine. I love to explore from hiking to urban exploration but what really makes a travel experience is the peoples met on the way. If I want to explore at a frenetic tourist rhythm I go to a hostel but when I want to step into local life and let the day flow I couch surf.

Interests

Everything, I am as curious as a child.
Still, on the top of the list of my interest there is
Dancing; from trance music to blues passing by swing.
Climbing, Hiking, Traveling with bicicle, I like jumping over rivers and sometimes falling in.
I like to explore cities from under and above, I spend a few nights in the Parisians catacombs, climbed on cranes and explored a lot of abandoned place.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music I like to discover, I love swing, blues, trance, rock, African rhyme, ska…. The list is too long.

Films
The first thing I can remember seeing in TV was a Charlie Chaplin.
I like made things like Black cat white cat.
I'm an absolute Ghibli fan, and as we're talking about animates, Metropolis 2001 is a masterpiece.

The books: I love adventure like Jack London, SF like Asimov, stories like Roald Dahl, Madness like Terry Pratchett…
And I want to leave in a tale like Corto Maltes and I wouldn’t be who am I without all the fantasy / SyFy novel and graphic novel that I devoured for entire days.

My latests discovery are
Alain Damasio - a French writer who brilliantly mix SyFy with poetry and literature.
Erri de Luca - an Italian writer whose writing is like a poetic spell
Louis Sepulveda - a Chilean writer of adventure with the most peculiar protagonists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One week of skydiving learning to make figures in the air.
Cycling alone across Thailand and Laos.
Dance in a blues and fusion festival in Valencia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have teached Blues and Fusion dancing in Madrid and Chaing Mai.
I have seen such a variety of movies that I can alwayse fin one to show you that will blow your minde :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know and love Madrid, I can wolk with you in my favorit area tell you about the local culture. I can invite you to share a day of my little life and what I like to share most of all is breakfast.
