ABOUT ME

I like cooking dinner with friends and talking over drinks. I also like to drink coffee. and watch the sun come up. I like urban areas, I also like being in the middle of nowhere on a hike. I wish I was a better photographer. I like art and poetry. I like reading and philosophy. I appreciate paradox and contradiction. I read too much Foucault.

I am also taking a German class and planning on moving to Berlin.

PHILOSOPHY

This question is just begging for an oversimplified summary. I think the most valuable things about a persons character are the things one learns with time, things that cant be verbalized. But all I have is a small space in a profile to give you some idea about myself. Im a lowercase a anarchist who thinks that ones whole life should be a struggle to rid oneself of prevailing dogmas, assumptions and generalizations...
and im Romantic enough to appreciate the hypocrisy. A friend once quoted Fitzgerald to me (thinking it appropriate), "I'm a romantic—a sentimental person thinks things will last—a romantic person hopes against hope that they won't." Thanks Fitzy! Its the paradox, the interstices that make everything interesting. Lets hope everything is not what it seems!
