ABOUT ME

I am Adrienne, or Adriana (when in Spain or Argentina). I've recently returned to Canada after a year of working abroad in Spain as an au pair. I had an amazing experience there and would like to have stayed longer, but the nagging voice of responsibility was telling me to go home to finish school and become the high school counselor that I aspire to be!

Other than that, I'm an easy-going, fun-loving, all around nice girl. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. My family is very important to me and I love to spend time with them whenever I can. I enjoy being outside and especially like hiking, skiing, mountain biking, wake boarding, snowboarding, fishing or other fun outside activities. I'm always up for a new adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to never stop learning. Always learn from the people you meet, the experiences you've had and aim to learn something new in the future. I live my life to expand my knowledge of the world and to love the people who are important to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a fantastic time in Paris with couchsurfing friends. Also surfed couches in Amsterdam and Florence. Mostly I enjoy the people that I have met who are involved in the organization because we all seem to have a lot in common... Aren't we great?!

兴趣

Travelling, Learning, Skiing, Snowboarding, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Figure Skating, Friends, Family, Reading, Teaching, Cooking, Eating, Kids and Laughing (especially at myself)! I'm sure I could go on, but I'll leave it at that for now!

All sorts of music depending on the situation. I like classic rock and cool new sounds, but basically anything I can sing out loud or dance to! I like movies. I love books!

One thing? I guess, vaguely, it would have to be the generosity and acceptance of people I've met around the world. It really makes me realize the common bonds that we all share as humans.

I love teaching and will soon be continuing with my education to become a school teacher in the near future. I've taught English in Argentina and loved it! I've also taught people to figure skate and snowboard. I can teach people about where I come from (Canada) and what life is like here as well as the experiences I've had in other places that I've traveled and lived.
