Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past I have hosted international exchange students when I used to live on the mainland for many years and really enjoyed the culture exchange. Since moving to Hawaii I haven't been able to accommodate that kind of commitment. So I thought I'd give this a try and see what it was all about, hopefully meet some interesting and fun travelers.

Interests

I'm an outdoor enthusiast that loves nature and exploring via hiking, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, surfing, to name a few. I also have a passion for healthy living, cooking and eating local foods as well as adventuring and exploring worldly cuisine. I also like finding super cheap deals at off the beaten path local restaurants with amazing food.
