I'm often labeled as a free spirit and a renaissance man. Art is a way of life and I realized long ago that the most important thing for an artist is to experience. Never having tried something is reason enough to do it. This philosophy, of course, excludes things that hurt or oppress others. I travel and explore as much as possible, and I enjoy the company of other like minded people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Though I've known of and been intrigued by couchsurfing for some time, I've only just joined. However, I have many personal experiences of receiving hospitality from and returning the kindness to near strangers. This education in humanity is priceless.

Interests

I'm a rather adaptable person and my interests are varied. I am a performer as well as an alternative/herbal medicine enthusiast. I've been employed as an actor, singer, dancer, educator, music therapist, personal caregiver, handyman, landscaper, caterer, and chef (among other things). Spending time outdoors is very important to me no matter where I am or what the weather is. I'd take a bonfire over a bar any day, and camping is a great pleasure. What's more, I can prepare a mean multi-course feast over a campfire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing which intrigues many people is that I bicycled from California to Massachusetts. It was an incredible experience! Recently I sailed from Massachusetts to Florida and, though this is common place for some, it was a big deal for me.
