ABOUT ME
Good friend once described me as "romantic-nerd" :) I guess that's indeed the best summary of my character. I like a lot reading historical romantic books, but also scientific articles. I could spend hours playing video or board games. I love discovering knew places on foot or bike, surrounded by nature or inside a city. I like learning and seeing new things, from people, books and also in museums or galleries. I’m a bit shy and introverted in the beginning but tend to open up once I get to know the others better.
My relatively new passion is creating crafts from recycled materials like plastic and paper packaging – mainly to reduce the amount of trash that my household is producing, but also because it looks cool! :) I am also on the way to become vegetarian. If you have any interesting recipes to share, that would be great!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started on couchsurfing few years ago as surfer-only - that time I didn't have the possibility to host someone. All my experiences were great! It's so much better to meet locals in unknown place than to be anonymous in a hotel and depend on guides and internet.
Now I finally can return the favor and welcome others into my home!
