CURRENT MISSION
Hmmmm...tbc
ABOUT ME
I believe that I describe myself as how I wish to be, so while I'm tempted to say things like: fun(ny?), easy-going, etc etc, it's probably best to ask someone close to me for a more objective characterisation... Unfortunately there's no one in the room with me right now.
PHILOSOPHY
I thought I was being extremely profound in my senior yearbook when I quoted John Lennon, saying "the future is brighter, now is the hour". Although still true (right? ;P) I'm not sure what I would say now. Someone always has something profound to say about something - I'll let you choose.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Although a member since 2009, admittedly I'm a bit slow on the uptake and haven't really participated much. My first couchsurfing experience was in Budapest where I met the nicest girl who makes her own steampunk jewelry and graciously showed me around her hometown. Unfortunately I'm not too good with follow-up so there hasn't been much activity since then. I'm trying to change that.
Interests
There's something interesting about most things.

- languages
Music, Movies, and Books
I want to say I like all kinds of music depending on my mood, but that's never really true! I'm not a fan of Noise Music or John Cage, for example...but let's just say I try to 'appreciate' it! :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Flying over England on Guy Fawkes and seeing fireworks from above!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning languages, although more to have a basic grasp in many than to be an expert in a few. Language swaps are a fantastic concept!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Cambodia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Belgium, Japan, United Kingdom
