ABOUT ME
If you're a surfer do not feel obligated to read all of my profile. I surf a lot and know how it is; feel free to send a generic request. Just be ok with where you're gonna sleep.
For anyone that wants to read it:
I'm 29 and from Portland, Maine. I'm currently living in Austin right now. My life is in a constant state of flux. I could be moving to Thailand any second, buying a boat and sailing around the world or move to some other place, maybe all of them at once. I really never know. I love to travel and have a really hard time staying in one place. I try on a regular basis to skydive, rock climb, SCUBA dive, slack line and soon to add hang gliding and snowboarding to the list. When I'm in Austin for longer than a week or two I try and run every morning and go to the gym to at least swim. I need to work on my yoga and weight training but I'm kinda lazy and don't really like doing either of those things. Right now my plan is to start college in the spring but that may or may not happen.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is short so make the most of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host whenever I'm settled down and I surf whenever I'm not.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely love hosting people and try and host as much as possible when I can. I think couchsurfing is a great idea to connect people and let people travel that wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to do it. Have loved all the people I have surfed with but have been very disappointed in the surfing process and the difficulty you can have finding and connecting with hosts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent two years in Iraq was a very different experience of the world. Spent two weeks in India some of the most amazing weeks of my life. Traveled around Europe and been to Thailand a few times. New to this list is skydiving definitely one of the craziest things I have done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching people how to rock climb. If you stay with me I will definitely want to take you climbing. I can teach basic slack lining and some cooking but only if you're a bad cook b/c I'm not that great. I love teaching people how to drive sticks but sadly my clutch cant take it right now... but if you wanna rent a car :-)
