About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people, live it up.

ABOUT ME

Oh where to begin! I am from Tucson, Arizona, known for the most beautiful desert, the Sonoran Desert. Being what is known as a "desert rat" I had an early need to explore other diverse environments. I moved to Belgium for foreign exchange when I was 16 and I have never stopped. After experiencing Europe and many parts of Latin America, I have decided to challenge myself further and head to Southeast Asia on my own. Although I am terrified at the idea of traveling by myself, I think this will be an amazing experience and I am so excited about meeting interesting and amazing people along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to make every experience a learning experience and live my life with compassion and positivity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several times and am looking forward to surfing in South East Asia in January!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard about Couchsurfing when I was in Chile. I met up with the Santiago group members and had a lot of fun. Recently, my roommates and I have started hosting people and we have had great experiences and met some amazing people!

Interests

Laughing, talking, talking while getting drinks, talking while listening to music... I just really like talking... reading Latin American literature, my adorable cat Atticus, exploring new places and old, history in all its forms, social justice, human rights, animal rights, hiking, beach combing, road trips ahhhh so many things, not sure how to not be so general!
