ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! My name is Anna, and I love to smile :) I am 21, English, and I like to think of myself as a world explorer! People and travel are my passions; I am always ready to try new things and learn new skills. I try to bring my positivity and happy energy everywhere I go, I am full of life and laughter, and always have a crazy story to share! I know how to have fun and am always looking for the next great adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a choice - I choose to be happy, I choose to travel, I choose to surround myself by beautiful people, beautiful places and share beautiful experiences. Life is short and I want to live every day to the full, with a positive attitude and a smile in every situation I find myself in!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am on a mission to explore the whole world, however long that will take. I like to travel with no plans and go where ever my feet take me. One day I´m sure I will settle down and be able to repay the kindness shown to me by hosts!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and best experiece was staying with an amazing guy called Matt, in Perth, Australia. He rescued me from near homelessness, and I ened up staying for 5 weeks, returning a year later to visit! There was always a huge group of backpackers at his house and it was a truly amazing experience.

I also had a few brief and brilliant stays in Darwin, Australia, and Denpasar, Bali.

Interests

Apart from travelling and getting up to all sorts of crazy adventures, I love yoga, meditation, reading, spinning poi, running, horseriding (when I get the chance!), hiking, meeting new people, and I do enjoy a good party!

Music, Movies, and Books

I think music is such an amazing, powerful form of pure art - I like lots of different music and love to discover new music, but I generally listen to folk, indie, accoustic - singer-songwriter type stuff, or on the electronic side of things I love deep house, tech house, some techno and psytrance thrown in the mix, plus I am quite partial to some electro-swing! Nothing like having a good stomp around at a rave or festival!

Books are another deep love of mine - I love fantasy fiction, but also alot of non fiction relating to philosophy and spirituality. I can´t begin to list the books I like, I will be here forever! The right book at the right time can be a very powerful thing indeed..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel that choosing one thing isn´t possible, for sure living on a yaught and sailing through a storm in australia, or motorbiking through the mountains of Laos, or living in a monastery in Thailand, or walking 800km accross Spain on El Camino de Santiago are all vying for the top spot. I don´t know!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring, and I want to share everything I can offer. I have lots of travelling stories, or information on the places I have been. I can help you improve your english and I am trying to learn spanish.
I can share ideas, conversation, smiles.
I am not a great cook but I am really good at washing up!!
