About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I like to travel! I like to help others travel!

ABOUT ME

PLEASE READ: Do not stay with me if you are going to change your plans last minute. I have had 2 couchsurfers in a row who decided the day they got here that they were going to stay with me the first and last night of their journey. The days in between they stayed with friends. I'm not a hotel. I'm a person who made plans based on the fact that someone is staying with me. When you cancel plans, that means that I cancel plans. And when you decide to stay elsewhere, that means that I turned away other surfers for no reason. Please, remember that you may be on vacation, but that I'm not. If you don't want to stay here for 4 days in a row, don't ask me to stay here for 4 days in a row. NOW....on to the good stuff:

I'm a pretty nice person I'd say. I'm also a proud New Yorker and I will defend my city to the death :P

One thing you should probably know about me is that I am a night owl. I don't (can't) goto sleep before 1am (more like 2am) so if you have to be in bed by midnight we might not be a great match :)

Also, if you're just looking for a place to sleep and you don't intend to hangout with me or you've booked yourself solid for the entire trip and won't have time to do anything else, you should probably stay with someone else. or better yet, use AirBnB! That's perfect for you. Couchsurfing is, I believe, first and foremost about the experience. We use this website to meet friends in other countries and see the local side of a city. If you're looking for a room and nothing more, you should use a hostel probably! :)

PHILOSOPHY

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I put my room out there for people coming to New York City, because I know from experience how important saving money on holiday can be. I've traveled a lot and I know hotels and hostels can take up most of your budget. My goal as a host is to eliminate that problem if I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Pretty much all of my experiences with couchsurfing have been great. That includes meetups and such.
