ABOUT ME

I love trying new things and meeting people that have live a real life. I enjoy hearing stories and I am fascinated with different cultures and am eager to try as many local foods world wide as possible. I like being outdoors as much as possible, as long as it is warm. I have been to many places with CS, it has been my best friend in adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by kindness, and hope that when kindness is received it will be payed back. This couchsurfing network has proven this to be true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to crash on couches to save money as I travel, but I am most interested in experiencing the local culture with someone that knows it best, and I hope to make new friends all over the world. I have now hosted several people, which I have found to be very interesting and worth wild. I most love to try local cool restaurants... that is my favorite thing to do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This has been so fun, un nerving at first but its great to know there are people who are willing to open their home to you in this world. I hosted alot when I lived alone, but since adding roommates, I have not lived with someone comfortable with hosting. So lately i have been using the network to crash on couches when I travel. This site has restored my faith in humanity, meeting such cool generous and kind people all over the world.

Interests

I love the arts... museums, opera, and theater. I enjoy cooking, hiking, boats... I love the beach more than anything. Restaurants and coffee shops are always a plus. But I mostly enjoy sitting around and having a conversation with a good meal.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most movies as long as it's not horror... I get nightmares.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Roommates and I did Hawaii, we found super cheap tickets and hiked the Laie Mountain, we slept on the beach and had a blast with the coral reafs. San Fran was ok... did not get enough in, but I got to see the Thinker Statue (it may have been a cast though). I was recently in DC, which was really cool, my favorite thing there was the Capitol tour I did, the inside of that building is so elaborate and colorful (I know...you can't tell from the outside... right?) I got to see the Taj Mahal, which was breathe taking. I have been to 3 Nazi concentration camps, which were life changing and a spirit awakening experience. I grew out my hair for locks of love twice and it was so cool to help out little girls who’s lives have been so full of tragedy. It’s hard to pick between the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Snoqualmie Falls or the Pacific Ocean as the most beautiful in the US, I'll have to decide later. In the Krakow Palace in Poland, there is an open air court yard that must be 200 feet tall and entirely made out of white marble. It is by far one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Last but not least... I thought Big Ben would be bigger than the Eiffel Tower, but it was still cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach CPR (thats not a pick up line) I am certified instructor and I have mannequins. I also am a chess enthusiast I can teach you or offer you a challenge if you are good.
