ABOUT ME

How to describe myself... Hard, but I'll try. I love nostalgy, I am fond of old things, photographs, old music and memories. I like to learn languages and to speak foreign languages. I also like to spend time with friends, sit in cafés, drink a beer or two, smoke cigarettes and make the world better ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Polish author Andrzej Stasiuk's book "on the way to Babadag", I think it describes perfectly the essentials of my traveling.
Music, well any kind of good music is good (what a comment), but I mostly enjoy rock (Manics), punk (dk, the clash...) and balkan gypsy music (recently Mostar Sevdah reunion, etc.)
Movies... Well I saw a pretty touching movie the other day, very sad and inconsolable, called "the Savior's square", Polish too. Also I really much enjoy Aki Kaurismäki's movies (of course) and Gus van Sant's movies (Elephant, Last days...)
We made an independent document about human trafficing and forced prostituion some time ago with a good friend of mine, and we'll enlarge it and try to make it to be shown on TV. We travlled through Europe with minimal budget interviewing people and seeing places. If you have any comments, suggestions of help to offer, please contact me :)
