ABOUT ME
This is a hard space to fill in. It's like writing the back cover of a book. How do you summarize a life-story? My husband and I met at Cal Poly SLO, traveled on a study abroad to Thailand, journeyed through life changes together as God worked Himself into our lives. We've been married for two years. Matthew loves watching movies, Star Trek and reading science fiction series like Ender's Game. I like distracting him by doing crazy drops on my fabric which used to hang in our home, but as we are on the move... hopefully it'll be up again soon in our new space. I'm a very frugal person and enjoy the challenge of trying to make anything I can rather than buy it. To find out even more about me, check out my website: www.rebekahleach.com
PHILOSOPHY
Matthew and I have the relationship that we have for one reason and one reason only: God is the center of it. We are servants of the Most High. We have an abundant life because He gave it to us, and out of our thankfulness for who He is, that's what motivates us to live in goodness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We had our first couchsurfing experience in Boulder, and we ended up moving in right door to our host, roomies with another fellow couchsurfer. I think that says what AWESOME people are couchsurfers that we gave in to temptation to move several states and continue growing relationships with new-found friends. We can't wait to meet and hang out with more couchsurfers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted more than we have surfed I'm happy to report. :) We don't travel too much these days, but we enjoy meeting travelers and hearing their stories. We like getting to know new people. Bonus points if we really get to understand each other.
Interests
Matthew loves: movies, Shakespeare, music with meaningful lyrics, Star Trek, reading fiction series, eating meat, teaching Physics, watching Mythbusters, and having deep fellowship with friends. Rebekah loves: aerial dancing, yoga, dancing to music with meaningful lyrics, listening to conversations (guilty pleasure: eavesdropping), drinking fresh squeezed juice, teaching math and I love the challenge of trying to avoid buying anything new. If I can, I'll do my best to create it from what I already have. I also crave reading Scripture. I try to meditate on it day and night in my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've ever witnessed was the change in Matthew's life when God entered his life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, by my profession, I am qualified to teach math, and my husband, science, especially physics, and I teach aerial dancing for a living as well. If you want to come out just for the purpose of learning aerial dancing, I would be thrilled. I am open to trading crafts. Any takers?
I also love playing the piano. While I'm not very good, if you are looking for the basics, I could definitely introduce you to the basics of piano.
