Finish my bachelor's in Physics and get on with traveling again!

ABOUT ME

After 2 years of Uni at 20 I left for a month for my first international travel in Vietnam and ended up wandering for 3 years. Decided I needed to finish that bachelors and fate (or a love turned sour) brought me to Geneva almost 3 years ago where I have one more year left to study.

I love Asia. Ireland is the best place I have seen in Europe, just after Prague. But NOWHERE can beat New Orleans Jazz in the music department. Sushi in Japan is INCOMPARABLE to any sushi anywhere. But New York comes close. All other sushi is GROSS.

Tried to live my life as a vegetarian for the past 5 years, but find that in Europe it is harder. I generally uphold this about 85% of the time.

Wanted to do physics to make the link between the physical sciences and yoga/spirituality through metaphysics. But physics is HARD. And presenting my ideas to a scientific audience is even HARDER. Don't know what I will do after my studies are over other than taking another 6 months to nomad it.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is a dynamic one that evolves with the moment. There is, of course, a "big picture" behind it, but not really something I am enthusiastic about expressing to a fill in the blank box on my computer. As I get to know someone, it surely comes out if they are interested. Such is life, non?

Now surfed and hosted once of each. A great experience both times. It is refreshing to have new energy in the biosphere!

Intereses

LIVE MUSIC. There seems to be none within 200 km (or more) of where I live. Being that I grew up in New Orleans, ceci est bien grave!

VEGETARIANISM AND RAW LIVING. Not something that I do 100% of the time, but, lets say, an ideal that I hold dear in my thoughts. ;)

YOGA AND TAOISM. I could write a few books on this.

Música, películas y libros

The first book I really appreciate in the last 5 years (and believe me I have sampled a LOT of them) is "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera. It just speaks to me in this moment. Something I have not felt from a book in a LONG time.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Once my brother and I were hiking in the mountains in China. The locals suggested that we go off-route to bypass the fees. I couldn't make it up the barbed wire on the rock wall of about a 75° angle. He did. But eventually fell and was hanging off of a rock wall about 100 meters from the ground by one hand. I was watching from the cliff on the other side with a bunch of locals that were yelling at him encouragement.

He dangled for about a whole minute before pulling himself up. PHEW.
