COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted for a wonderful person known as the Walking Musician. He stayed with me in Santa Cruz and we enjoyed Warrior Yoga, farmer's market, guitar, and soup.

I love nature, hanging out with people, reading, music, dancing, and laughing, being sustainable, watching things grow. I am really interested in meeting new people. I love people watching and observing human behavior. I'm interested in other cultures and traditions. I play piano and dance. I'm also learning hand drumming.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I like everything but new age country and some hip hop/rap. Basically, if you like it I like it. Reggae, rock, folk, modern, classical, jazz, alternative. I like books and movies that have a strong message that aren't constantly pounding you over the head with the deeper meaning. I really like Phillip Pullman, JD Salinger, Kurt Vonnegut, Emily and Charlotte Bronte. I'm about to tackle "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy and looking forward to it.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Three years ago I traveled to Peru and hiked to the top of Wina Picchu, near Machu Picchu. The climb was tough in the high altitude, but the view was worth every painstaking step.

I can teach you many things. I have lots of knowledge, so just ask me. I know everything there is to know about tea. I've worked in tea shop for the past three years, so I can share my tea and knowledge with you. I want to hear your stories.
