Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't found a good place yet, so now I'm only available for coffee/drink. I'll definitely offer up a couch when I get a place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some interesting people that are usually pretty accommodating. Whether it was in California when we wanted to ski at Tahoe, friends in Oregon or Minnesota, or friends in Spain, France and Portugal, I've always had a great experience. Whether it was drinking and entertainment, adventuring or discussing the interesting topics of life, they have all had some great aspects.

Music, Movies, and Books

Good music, good movies and good books.

They change everyday; I'd say they're circumstantial.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a bunch of things I consider amazing. Off the top of my head...

Canyoning through a river at the base of the Swiss Alps.

Sky-diving in Wisconsin.

Backpacking through Europe by myself with only €700 to last the summer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I've read a lot and had many discussions regarding culture (literature, music, film, art, etc.), philosophy, politics, religion, etc.; so as far as something to teach/share, I'd say I have some interesting discussions to offer.
But I also became a Certified Wilderness First Responder, taught Children's Ski School in Vail Colorado, and have done a lot of hiking, fishing, rafting, rock-climbing, camping, canoeing, swimming, biking, and other related things so I have a lot of experience with outdoor endeavors, which all might be nice to share.
And after WWOOF-ing through Spain, I have gained a lot of practical skills and knowledge about organic farming, permaculture, and sustainability that I think can be useful and I want to share some of my knowledge.

I'm always open to learn anything I can and talk about it.
