ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a pretty much laid back and open minded person. I try to live in the moment and enjoy !
After my nursing studies in the north of the Netherlands( Groningen, also defenitly worth a visit) I moved to Amsterdam in january 2009. I love amsterdam for its diversity and good atmosphere. So many cultures ( and tourists ;) ) in one city and still so much history in for example the houses and canals..
I cant say that I feel in particular Dutch because I love to be in other countries or around people from all over the world.
Have been in Sydney, Australia, for half an year, which I enjoyed very much. I am hoping to go back there one day and visit/ experience other places in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I am an open minded person. I believe in the here and now and let life take me where it leads me.
I try to enjoy all that life has to offer and learn from all that I encounter.
Spirituality interests and inspires me. I believe that life has more to offer then for example just material things, work and getting by every day.
I am open towards and interested in what drives other people in life and like to hear what they have to say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It would be great to help people out while they're travelling. But also great to hear stories and share experiences from different people all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend of mine has travelled around Europe with the help of the couchsurfing community and told me only positive stories and how great it is to meet and help out people in this way. Thats why i joined and so far i had so many positive experiences.

兴趣

I like to spend time with friends just talking, going out to enjoy a beer over a good conversation, sitting in the park, watching a movie or for example going to the beach on a nice sunny day.
I also appreciate my private time by listening to music, relaxing on the lounge or by going cycling or running.
I like to travel when i am able to. I hope to do some volunteer work in the future or live and work overseas.

I prefer movies with a good underling story such as red dragon, thank you for smoking, public enemies, blood diamonds, the reader. I also enjoy watching comedies such as Borat or Jim Carey movies.
