Traveling through Asia at the moment! February-May 2019 and so excited to explore more of this beautiful planet!

CURRENT MISSION

Walk the Inka Trail - This has been my goal for years. In February 2015 I managed to scale Macchu Picchu, but since the trail was closed in that month for maintenance, walking the Inka Trail is still on my bucket list.
Also, I FINALLY get to take a longer trip. It's not the one I envisioned, but it'll take me to foreign places for three months. Places, that I hope to leave as new homes.

ABOUT ME

I am 29 years old and travelling is my biggest passion. I have visited many countries so far and I'm looking forward to seeing much more in this world. Earth is an absolutely amazing place and there's just so much to see and experience, so many great people to meet and such beautiful landscapes to take in. I am aware that I am very priviledged and I really love giving back to the community when travelling.

Besides travelling I enjoy photography, reading, cooking and hanging out with friends.

I would love to meet new people through CS and just exchange experiences and learn about each others cultures. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me, I might be a little lazy in getting back to you but you'll definitely hear from me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I cannot host myself. But instead of hosting, I could offer you a tour through Switzerland, or to a few of the more interesting places. If you feel like you need a companion on your trip to/through here, you're right with me. As a counselor for youthgroups I was lucky enough to visit even some more remote places in Switzerland and I can show you around both the touristy and the non-touristy places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a guy at the Brewery Hostel in Dublin, Ireland, who told me about this page. Loved the idea right away.

Hosted some friends of friends, stayed with strangers who became friends, had a birthday-cake baked for me by hosts, partied until the early morning and met the nicest people all over the world!

Lord of the Rings, I am Sam, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Cube, A Dog's Breakfast, Little Miss Sunshine, The Place Between the Pines, ... I like very diverse movies, so I'd surely enjoy learning about new movies from you :)

As for books, I'm constantly reading. Since before the hype, Harry Potter has always been (and still is) one of my favorite books, although there's so many more that I'd have to list if I really wanted to get into it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I surely am very thankful for the opportunity of going to the US by myself for a whole year at the age of 15. That's not something every parent would let their child do and I will be forever grateful to my parents for letting live through this amazing experience by myself.

Other than that, there's just so many places so far that have taken my breath away... Above all, I must say it's the landscapes of Bolivia that have left me in awe of nature. I honestly did not dare to sleep because I was afraid I'd miss out on another one of those mesmerizing and strangely diverse landscapes. There's much more to tell, so just ask me, I'll be happy to go on and on about it.
