Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Earlier in my life I just travelled alone. Very often visiting random places. Time went by and I made friends abroad. Showing them around Estonia and having them show me around their home towns made me believe that having a local friend is the best way to go.
Unfortunately I don't have friends everywhere(yet).

I heard about Couchsurfing years ago. Now I thought I'd give it a go:)

Interests

A few years ago I realised that there are too many things to be interested in. Can't possibly learn everything in a lifetime.

So by now I have pretty much narrowed my focus down to:

Languages, music, playing music, snowboarding, cooking, table tennis, skiing, shearing and figuring out what makes people tick. And how to learn more efficiently.

Music, Movies, and Books

From books, I like biographies(and maybe some history).

From movies...
movietime is when my brain rests. Pretty much anything that's not too deep. Action, documentaries, comedy, classics and so on. And trash. Like Sharknado.

Music. Everything from russian disco to classical. Top artists in my player are maybe:

U2, Beatles, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, L. Armstrong, The Strokes, Ida Maria...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Represent Estonia in World Championships in Sheep shearing. 2008 Norway, 2010 Wales, 2012 NZ, 2014 Ireland. And I was never the last:)

Teach, Learn, Share

Knitting. But just the basic stitch. I've only made myself one scarf.

As of learning targets I'm determined to learn essential Korean, good Russian, how to shuffle(party rock style), do a squirrel sound to make squirrels crazy..
