About Me

Hi! I’m Aadil, born and raised in Mumbai, and a true India lover at heart. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to travel to almost all parts of India, experiencing its rich diversity of cultures, people, and food. I also lived in the Kashmir region for almost a year, which gave me a deep appreciation for its natural beauty and warmth. Currently, I’ve been living in Bangalore for more than two years, and I truly enjoy the vibe of this city. I’m also recently married and starting a beautiful new chapter of life.

I’m easy-going, respectful, open-minded, and love meeting new people. I enjoy long conversations, good food, late-night tea, fitness, and discovering hidden gems in every city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I genuinely love meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about their cultures, stories, and way of life. For me, travel is not just about places — it’s about the connections we make along the way. Some of my best memories come from simple conversations, shared meals, and exploring a city like a local.

I also enjoy giving back to the travel community by helping others experience the real side of a place, beyond just tourist spots. Whether it’s hosting, surfing, or just meeting up for a walk or chai, I’m here to share experiences, build friendships, and create meaningful memories with like-minded travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t really read many books, but I absolutely love movies. Some of my all-time favorites include **The Shawshank Redemption, Gladiator and V for Vendetta. I’m a big fan of meaningful, powerful stories. I also enjoy superhero and sci-fi movies a lot — especially movies from Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Extended Universe.

When it comes to music, I mostly love listening to old Bollywood songs and soulful Ghazals. There’s something timeless and calming about classic music that I really connect with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once drove my own car on a long road journey from the north of India(Kashmir) all the way to the south(Tamil Nadu). It was an unforgettable experience — witnessing changing landscapes, cultures, food, and people across thousands of kilometers. That journey taught me patience, independence, and how beautiful and diverse my country truly is.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can share real-life travel experiences from across India, road trip tips, basic car driving in Indian conditions, and insights into local culture, food, and traditions. I’m also happy to help with basic fitness guidance and lifestyle routines.

Learn: I love learning about different cultures, traditions, languages, food habits, and personal life stories from people around the world. I’m always curious to see how people live and think in different parts of the world.

Share: I enjoy sharing good conversations, travel stories, music (especially old Bollywood and ghazals), home-cooked food, chai, laughs, and meaningful life experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share great conversations, positive energy, and genuine respect for your home and culture. I love exchanging travel stories, life experiences, and different perspectives over chai or a simple walk around the city. I’m always happy to help with household work, cooking, cleaning, organizing, or any small tasks that make hosting easier and more comfortable.

I can also share stories and insights from my travels across India, road trips, local food culture, and everyday Indian life beyond tourist spots. Most importantly, I bring gratitude, kindness, and an open mind wherever I go.
