ABOUT ME

I am 31 and I have studied Art Therapy, worked for 9 years in the Jopenbrewery and soon will be working with people again. Looking for a new adeventure!
My time at Jopen has been awesome. I can talk about beer for hours, oh, don't get me started!
I also like to run little projects. I organized concerts, vegan dinner parties with cultural events and pubquizzes.

I love
* an evening with board- or cardgames with friends (vampire masquerade is a favourite!)
* dancing (just alone in my room or out with friends at any place and balfolk, see the picture in my gallery of the Rond de Saint-Vincent)
* nature (hiking or just sitting and staring at how beautifull nature is)
* being creative (drawing, painting, working with clay)
* good converstations about well anything actually (politics, culture, nonsense, how to make the best cake or an alternative do it yourself shampoo)
* organizing parties (vegan cafee, dancing evening or a themed evening)
* talking about food (I prefer vega(n) food)
* singing (all kind of songs, mantras or just something I made up)
* brewing, we have been making cider and we would like to learn how to make beer as well :)

Often people say I am friendly, dreamy, warm, open and a bit chaotic.
I love parties but I also really love to just take it easy and enjoy the little things.

MATTHIJS :)

The lovely man you see on the picture next to me is Matthijs. If you surf my place it is likely you will meet him. We live together :)
He is a musician who plays mainly the guitar. At the moment he plays in a couple of bands and there are some smaller projects going on every now and then.

He loves food and good wine/beer/whiskey with a passion, he is really good at enjoying these! Matthijs is also really relaxed (sometimes almost Budha like, really!) and easy to talk with. He also like boardgames and computer games. He like climbing and mostly bouldering.

ANDREAS
Our son of 1 year old. Hard to miss when you are in our house.
He loves food, kitchens, people, cats, dogs, music, piano's and stuff that moves.
Good to know. He goes to bed at 7 in the evening. So time to pary after. He wakes up around 7 in the morning. So we don't party till to late.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When people surf my place I do not just want to give them a free place to crash. I'd like to let people be part of the life I have. Take people with me to parties, the playarea for my son, singing nights, game nights and so on. You don't have to ofcourse!

In April 2012 I made my very first real journey (through Scandinavia) and this was a big succes! I didn't knew before I went that travelling would suit me so well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I now have quite a few CS experiences and up till now it is great! I love hosting just as much as surfing :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One thing? There is so much to experience! I enjoy simply breathing or feeling the wind.

Falling in love, drinking a beer outside with warm weather, dancing on top of a table (that needs to be done every now and then), eating freshly picked blueberries, sitting in a fantastic beerbar in Stockholm and reading a book I found, getting lost on one of the Lovoten islands of Norway and finding your way again, visiting Riga and staying for 12 hours in the beer-brewery-bar La Bietis, singing on top of your lungs and so much more. I could continue this list for a long time!

Learn: I'd like to learn songs in any language, Russian and Swedish language, how to brew beer, be more enviroment friendly, gardening and ofcourse to prepare for an apocalypse ;)

Teach: I could teach you Dutch culture, language and basics for drawing, painting and modeling clay. Also some basics for dancing (a waltz, polka or a more medival dance) and I'm getting better at brewing cider!
