About Me
Hi, I am from India and currently working in Stavanger, Norway. I started traveling solo since June this year and have met so many amazing people while traveling. I believe every person has a story to tell. Talking to new people is best way to learn.
I like a relaxed life with a flavour of excitement. Enjoy deep conversation infused with some humor :) If you want to enjoy the life to the fullest, going crazy sometimes is must!
I am very easy going and open minded person, like to please people, as long as they are respectful :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So that I get to come out of my comfort zone and meet people all around the world. Every experience makes me more mature, interesting and better informed person. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Rock & pop music! I am new to Western music. But few friends and Spotify subscription has helped with good song selection. You are always welcome to suggest something new. :) I love listening to suggestion from friends. AC/DC, RHCP, Green Day, The Beatles are few I know very well.
Love Bollywood songs, but don't ask for suggestions, there is high probability you won't like it. :)
Started "Factfulness" by Hans Rosling - it's an interesting read. Before that completed "Becoming me" by Michelle Obama..loved the first half. One of the favorite this year is small read "Subtle art of not giving fuck!"
One of my all time favorite is " A Thousand splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. Cried when I finished it (give it a read).
Movie is a form of art, and I appreciate it if it blows me away and get me thinking after that 1 or 2 hours. Naming few is just difficult. A Quintin Tarantino fan! I like top movies in IMDB list. But Marvel's, Starwars, Back to the future, Harry Potter are exception, that's just the kid inside me and people say if you take the kid out I would die( if you got the "Friends" reference here we are soulmates already). Last movie was "Joker" and that's what I call an experience. But a comedy movie doesn't require rating, just a good company :) Hangover, Groundhog day, how to lose a guy in 10 days (this one because I have a huge crush on Matthew Mcconaughey :p strange? in love with Benedict Cumberbatch since I have watched Sherlock...what is common?....haha! I can't pronounce both the fucking names :'D )
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook some delicious Indian recipes. I like intellectual discussions. Few topics of interest.. philosophy, meaning of life, how it was growing up in a conservative family for me, my experience in Europe...what I liked and what I don't, global warming ( haha! kidding), new technology..what is better iPhone or Pixel...I am team Pixel :) or new startups, or just stories when we got drunk and fucked up!( Let's see who has more :'D), Was Thanos right?( Seriously I think he might be), World wars, world hunger and poverty ( I am serious), would like to exchange places with Melania Trump (why not! Can teach Trump to respect woman and fuck him over! Not literally though or how would that be like?), upcoming start-ups, economics? popular stereotypes I hear about Indians, any topic you like :) and we can just not talk, I can spend time with my phone/book/laptop.. that's just as well fine.
If I have time and don't have a lot of work, I can show you around. :)
