Hey, my name is Aakash. I am from Bombay (India) but currently, I am living in Germany for my Masters' studies.

I am an entrepreneur and I quit my work & got an exit from my company to explore this beautiful continent of Europe which has a diverse culture and different set of people from which I aspire to learn. So along with studying, I also do some freelancing workshop and review for start-ups & aspiring entrepreneurs.

I love to travel and experience new culture & hear stories of people from around the world. I also love to cook (especially Indian food) and I am a vegetarian but trust me there are so many delicious veggie dishes to cook and eat (which I would love to share). Currently, I am trying to figure out my next phase of life in Germany.

I can be talkative sometimes but most of the times I am a good listener and I love to hear stories from a different culture and people & their life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I had a busy life in Bombay, I was not able to couchsurf anyone but I always used it whenever I traveled. So since I am here living in Germany and have some free time to host some people I would love to and again, I love different culture and people around the world & this is the best way to know them, by living and experiencing.

I look forward to meeting some like-minded people from whom I can learn and share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a moody kinda of a guy so I usually change my taste of Music as per my mood! But usually, I would listen to pop-punk, soft rock, hip-hop/rap and "trending" hits hahaha

I love to watch movies and tv series, some of my all time favorites would be Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Man in The High Castle and so many more...

I am into reading book & I wish I had 26 hours in a day so I could give 2 hours to reading hahaha and every phase of my life I have kept on changing the genres to what I read so I have read Harry Potter books to Marvel Comics. Currently, I am into reading Indian Mythology and if you are interested then I would recommend you this author "Devdutt Pattanaik" to start with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

OMG!! Where do I start with?! I have always been an adventure junky and try new things in life...so my current "One Amazing Thing I've Done" was in the Philippines, where I got to swim with whale sharks!! YES you read it right, I was literally swimming with them and it was awesome. (can share some videos & pictures)

I work for this amazing organization called CISV International (www.cisv.org) which works towards peace education and I have been a part of this for more than 10 years now. So if you love to travel and kids & want to 'build global friendship" then I would suggest you all to just look up to the CISV website and it is spread over 70+ countries so you can be a part of this and explore & experience things I have which were amazing (also, I have endless CISV stories so if you want to know more then let me know)

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I mentioned, I love to cook Indian food and whenever I couchsurf I would always bring my host some Indian species or a home-cooked meal. And if I am traveling from places to places then I usually share some local drink with the host. Also, I am a good listener and I have loads of stories to share if you are interested in knowing different culture and people. I am good with some household work and fixing things as I am an engineer, so if you need some help, I can try. If you want some advice on your work then maybe I could help you with that.

Basically, I love to share whatever I can and have, from Knowledge to Experience to Stories. And I can be a good company to hang around with.
