About Me

No copy paste messages for host requests as I don't do that either 😎 . Use the code word at the end to make sure you read everything 😎

Hello Travelers,

I’m Aakash from Bangalore, Silicon valley of India. I moved to Dubai in December 2023, and I also spend a lot of time in Himalayan India, Manali and Kerala throughout the year. Since I shuttle between these places, even if I’m not around, I can usually help arrange a stay with my family—our home is often available.

Important Notice:
Due to security reasons , please ensure you have the following documents if you wish to stay with me:

Foreigners: Passport and Visa copy

Indians: Aadhar Card copy

About Me:
I’ve worked with companies like Sprinklr, Schneider, and Amazon, focusing on data analytics, ad tech, media planning, and buying. Currently, I’m trying to contribute to the world by embracing a sustainable and minimalistic lifestyle.

I’m also learning Spanish after spending some time in Spain. It’s a beautiful language, though I still find myself struggling in conversations with native speakers. If you’re a Spanish speaker, you’ve got extra brownie points!

I love connecting with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’m passionate about sports and adventure, whether it’s running, hiking, cycling, football, or cricket—if it’s active, I’m in!
I have been taking part in marathons and ultra marathons for the last 10+ years! I run barefoot 👣.
I also enjoy cooking and working on creative campaigns. Topics like sports, history, fashion, movies, politics, mysteries, religion, and spirituality are all things I love to discuss.

Before hosting or meeting someone, I like to reach out and get to know you a bit—it’s just a casual icebreaker to build trust and ensure you feel comfortable. Rest assured, this is a safe space, and I’m not trying to set up anything awkward.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love to travel and meet new people!
CouchSurfing for me is not about saving money, but it's a cultural experience, one cannot have it in any hotel or hostel. I want to experience life of a local/native. I prefer spending time with a local than doing tourist things like visiting a museum or palace.
i want to get out of my comfort zone!
i believe couchsurfing will teach you new meaning of life!!
Boundaries are created by humans, i believe entire human race is one family!
i want to do things which will be new to me, meet and make new friends, it helps you to know history about the place which is not from books but from the people who have witnessed it or heard from their previous generation.
I had an amazing experience in Europe, hosted by amazing people, strangers then and friends now. I want to give back the same.
