Hi, I am Aakash. I am student from India pursuing my Masters degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, NY. I am self-taught designer, who moved on from Mechanical Engineering. I am passionate about gadgets, movies and can keep talking about world-changing ideas. I am constantly on the move to seek new experiences and meet amazing people and listen to their version of the world as they see it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet people who are on the same path and like minded interests. I love experiences and being involved in a place like the locals do it. Also, I am not a super rich student, so this would also help me find some good roof on my head. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to pop and electronic. However, I have developed a liking for Classical in the recent times. I also read books from many genres ranging from Sci-fi to autobiographies. My favorite books are the Dan Brown kind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done much in life yet. But, I travelled alone all the way to Singapore and Malaysia for 10 days with nothing but a return ticket. That trip shaped me into who I am today.

I can teach design principles, practical mechanical engineering discussions, ideas and prototyping concepts. I am always willing to learn new skills and looking for new ideas and trying to solve the challenges we face in our everyday life.
