Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
BA - my favorite CS experience was when I went to Germany and contacted the sister of the wife of an uncle of a friend. And instead of just a lunch in a new town, I wound up spending three days with them. My pathetic knowledge of the German language got a full workout that week. It was an incredible experience.
On the other side of couch-surfing, I hosted a Norwegian exchange student for a year, and a German exchange student for a few months. Both were lovely girls that became very much a part of the family.
