ABOUT ME

My name is André Domingos, I study Architecture and Urban Planning at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, I'm finishing my fourth year of college. The characteristics that define me are: determined, dedicated, friendly, creative, anxious, animated. Regarding friends I'm an easy person to deal, I like meeting my friends at my house to cook for them, making new recipes and new drinks, having long chats and good discussions.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some friends recommended this social network since they enjoyed a lot their experiences with all different kinds of people and adventures. Having the experience of staying in a couch sharing different cultures with my host is something I would like very much to do. I believe I may be increasingly collaborating to create linkages between the countries, spreading my own reality and culture, breaking stereotypes and prejudices.

Interests

I want understand the relationship between culture, architecture and the practice of urban planning. All the time meeting new people and new cultures. Photography, I think it is essential to have a good pictures of the special moments of my life, every time walking together with my Holga 35mm. Maybe fashion is one of my interest too, even though I am not an expert on it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've never been a person who like to read book or watch movies I prefer listen a good music. Almost everything, pop, tecnobrega, indie, house, reggae, country, MPB, rock, sertanejo. My hobby is music, I dedicate a lot to it, searching music references, finding brand new songs that no one know yet. I can say I'm an eclectic person who will listen to a song from the 50s to a current. This hobbie created the possibility to play as a DJ in some clubs and parties here in Belo Horizonte.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had an amazing cultural experience in a trip to Peru. I could understand better the motivations behind people and distinct cultures.
