About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I have a teleportation startup. Problem is I keep, er, misplacing my best employees.

ABOUT ME

I laugh easily, have a very happy view on life and like to let people be whoever they are without judgements.

Our house has 3.25 people living here. One roommate has traveled all over Europe and runs a business coaching company, my second roommate is in a startup and my third roommate, who loves the outdoors, is an ergonomics specialist. We're excited to meet and host some travelers and love traveling ourselves!

-=-=- PLEASE NOTE -=-=-
I should say upfront that if you have just a single picture and not a whole lot of text in your answers, it's *really* unlikely that we'll learn enough about you to offer a place in our home. On the other hand, if you put effort into telling us about yourself and take the time to fill out your profile, we will definitely look at inviting you into our fun home.

PHILOSOPHY

Right and wrong is so 20th century

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

✣ My roommates and I all agree that since we have enough of our friends over to call our place "Hostel Portola" it's a cool idea to host some people who we *don't* know. That could be you!

✣ I've donated to the project.

✣ My location is verified.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Probably the most interesting couch surf I've done was visiting someone I met at his home on the mainland near the Island of Elba, then visiting the island itself. He was an Italian I met while traveling in Italy and he was extremely welcoming and generous (like most Italians, in my experience).

I love how the Italians live!

He loved how the Italians live, too, but to a point. He was living in the U.S. at the time because he got a little tired of how "things don't work in Italy as well as they do in the U.S." I definitely saw that first hand (i.e. Italian banks) but I still think I would take their lifestyle over the one we live with here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whizzing around a racetrack at 160mph was pretty cool. Indoor skydiving was really fun. And looking over the shear edge of a mountain in the Italian Alps in a WWII sniper nest was vertigo-inspiring and breathtaking.
