ABOUT ME

Um, right... I lived and studied in Berlin before I moved to Cambridge three years ago. Meanwhile, people are saying that I am becoming more and more english.. Personally I think I am just about to recognise the advantages and disadvantags of my own culture by exploring and living in a different country. It always keeps me open minded and challanges me in life. Not to forget about all the fun/experience factor when meeting different people all over the world.

I am quite curious:-), enthusiastic, easy going and sometimes a bit anxious. I always look positive in future. I love to laugh about funny jokes or situations.
I like simple things in life with a certain quality and believe that 'less can be more'. I think its not difficult to make me really happy...

Given the fact that I grew up with 3 brothers (I am a twin and the youngest) I know what it means having to adapt and I learnt early how to defend myself when saving the best bites from my dinner plate... :-)

I like good parties (quite often I can become a little dance mouse) and at the same time i just love to sit with friends together for a meal or a drink and enjoy the moments.

I love to cook as much as I love to go out to restaurants, bars or pubs.

This project is new to me so I haven't had a lot experiences yet.

Intereses

I am collecting all sorts of things like amber and shells, stemps...I love food and I am currently trying to find out which country offers the better steak:-). Well, travelling to Argentina means I could find out the answer quite soon. (Update: by the way, I found out that Brazil has the best steak!!!)
As an Art Restorer I am of course interested in Architecture and Art pieces, but I am also very keen to see/ explore new things which are not art related.
I used to be a great fan of running. I run the half marathon in Berlin last year, but I have to admit that I got a bit lazy within the last months...

'Schtonk' and 'Rossini' are definetely my favourite german movies. I love that kind of humor...
I like all sorts of music. I think it would be impossible to live without my ipod. 'Coldplay' had a really nice album last year. 'Cafe del mar' is always good...Not sure if I am that kind of girl who likes 'heavy metal' too much, but ja...
