ABOUT ME

I just started my masters in international studies in canada.. Before coming to vancouver, I was working on an education project for rural development.. Needless to say, I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures.. thats why I am here on CS! I am fun loving guy, with the word 'silent' removed from my dictionary.. you will always find me talking, talking.. and talking.. I like living a fast paced life, where I am busy doing something every moment.. Travelling for me is a passion, and I take measures to ensure that whenever I go abroad to any country, I learn something from their culture and language..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have encouraged five of my friends to join CS. Three of them couchsurfed with me in Turkey, and the other two are planning to do the same next month.. If I cannot host someone, I try making sure that I ask some of my friends to arrange for their stay.

I have moved to Edmonton and unfortunately I have not been very active CSer. Howerver, if you would like me to show you around Edmonton, please feel free to send a message.

Unfortunately, my hosting experience is limited to the time I lived in Karachi(apparently, not a lot of people like coming to Karachi :P)..

However, I have traveled and met with surfers and hosts from Switzerland, Germany, Montreal, Pakistan, United States, etc.

Interessi

travelling (duh!), learning words from different languages, learning about the local way of living in countries I visit..

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Jumped infront of Taj mahal and Eiffel Tower.. getting lost in a weird corner of Istanbul after midnight, with nobody in the neighbourhood familiar with english, and not to mention only 2 liras in my pocket.... I eventually found my way back :D
