ABOUT ME

In a few phrasings, this is me:
-I'm pretty chill, laid back, and like to go with the groove, like a new-age hippie.
-I sometimes do some pretty extreme things.
-I'm a movie/tv guru... mostly movies. imdb.com
-I'm a cat person, but love all animals.
-I enjoy reading, writing, and photography.
-I've traveled through most of the Midwest and parts out West, but have yet to visit many coastal states. -I'd like to have visited all 50 states by the time I turn 50.
-I love to cook and bake.
-I find sudoku relaxing.
-Koalas are my favorite animal.
-Family and personal relationships are important to me.
-I hate the sounds of screaming babies, mouth noises, people tapping or drumming when there is almost complete silence, high heels on marble, and monotonous talking.
-I love the sounds of my favorite music, babies laughing, people laughing, drumlines playing, and the wonderful rumble of a diesel truck engine.
-I like to talk once I feel comfortable with people, but I talk fast when I'm nervous or excited, and have tendencies to tell long stories.
-I want to fly around the world to see more people, cultures, and experience new things.
-I miss home when I'm not there.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm combining a few of my personal philosophies that also might be quotes from movies:

I can't predict what the future holds, but it's all chance and chance rules our lives. Life moves pretty fast, and if you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it. Live life so that it is meaningful to you. Do what makes you happy because your happiness is what is most important. You'll never regret that. Feel free to laugh at yourself at any point because I'm sure you don't truly regret the times that make your life absolutely ridiculous.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My mission goal:

I've heard that women should experience a trip by themselves at least once in their lifetime. I'm planning on doing more traveling before the end of my time teaching English in Spain, so I want to take more trips. By doing this, I hope to share my experiences with others and offer advice/suggestions to those who ask.
