About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Let's Build a Global Resume Together

ABOUT ME

I love to read, write short stories, stage plays, screen plays, play guitar, play drums, laugh, laugh some more, tell stories, hear stories, meet new people and waste no time.

I consider myself a filmmaker, as a writer / producer. I'm also an outdoors man. I enjoy rock-climbing, long distance camping, and general mountaineering. I worked for Outward Bound for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmmmm, create your own living tombstone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm helping to build this community by being kind toward everyone I meet. When I meet new surfers, it's a point to learn about them, share stories, and keep in touch. Who knows what the future holds?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had nothing but great experiences with everyone I have surfed with. I have hosted several folk and have surfed my fair share. I've never had a bad experience.

Interests

Percussion. Guitar. Reading. Writing, poetry, novels, live-theatre, the works. I'm sort of a business guy by day and a poet by night.

Martial Arts. Capoeira, mainly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film:

Well... I like a lot, and it's broad.

Anything / everything Hayao Miyazaki.

I'm drawing a blank, but that's just a compliment to Miyazaki.

Literature:

Every word of Yukio Mishima.

Richard Bach (Jonathan Livingston Seagull & Illusions are works of art), Carlos Castaneda, Charles Bukowski...

Beat Generation stuff, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Honduras for a month and during my trip I attained my PADI certification. I scuba dived to about 110 feet and swam around a ship wreck. Later I went on a night dive, 60 feet under the ocean surface and saw some amazing creatures.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar, drums, business mumbo jumbo. I can be an awesome rock climbing & camping partner and will instruct. I'll teach you how to tie knots!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom, United States
