ABOUT ME
I am a friendly creative individual who has been following his dreams of traveling as well as filmmaking for the past two years. I am currently working on freelance photography and videography, but I often find myself picking up new hobbies and interests along the way.
Couch surfing has been an amazingly positive experience. I've found myself caught up with new friends and adventures, and I hope to continue feeling that sense of excitement. It is something that is very important to my life, and growth as a person.
PHILOSOPHY
I seek to be happy and content in my life. I am pursuing a career that fulfills me, and I search for friends who give me encouragement along the way. I do not have a clear path, but I believe in myself and am always confident that it will work out somehow along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The majority of my time couch surfing was spent when I took a cross country road trip in the summer of 2013, which I filmed a documentary about. It was very rewarding, and the friends I made throughout that trip has lead to me recommending this site to anyone who shows interest in doing something similar.
Interests
Guitar is one of my strongest interests outside of videography and photography. I also enjoy writing and drawing, as well as going out and exploring. I am a very active person who is always seeking to learn and grow.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, but I do not have a completely set genre. I find that what I listen to continuously changes with my mood. As for movies, I look up to Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Peter Jackson, so the vast majority of their films come to mind. As for books, most of what I read is about filmmaking, managing, or screenwriting. I haven't read fiction in a long time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done is turned the focus of my life onto myself. When I was younger I found myself caught up in other people's opinions of me, and was really just a shell of myself.
A year and a half ago I decided that I was through with that lifestyle and took it upon myself to travel. I went on two spontaneous road trips, a ten thousand mile adventure which I made into a documentary, and have traveled to Los Angeles to pursue my dream career. I've met so many people along the way that have changed my life, and I hope to continue that. I'm excited to see what will happen next.
Teach, Learn, Share
The only thing I can really teach is to just trust in yourself. Don't wait for anyone else to guide you, you have the responsibility to create what you want. Not everything works out, there's a lot of times where defeat and rejection can be crushing, but if you get through it, you will only find yourself in a better place. Simply put, just go out and do what you want to do. The rest will fall in place.
