About Me

Aloha! I am a second year medical student at VCOM in Blacksburg. Since starting school my traveling abilities are extremely limited so I figured I’d start giving back by hosting you beautiful people. Outside of school, I love biking, hiking, disc golf, good jams, good food, and good people (as seems to be the trend amongst us couchsurfers). Back in 2017 I bicycled across the US on the TransAm and this year backpacked the Shenandoah portion of the Appalachian Trail. I’m excited to host as I’m able but please don’t be offended if I am either unable to host or unable to hang and visit with you - med school is tough and I have to study almost all of the time. You are welcome to my futon (until I find other bedding), my bathroom, and my kitchenware. If you need a ride to and from the trail feel free to ask and I’ll try to accommodate (no promises).
Cheers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I understand the struggle of traveling on a budget. If I can help and be helped, that is all I could ever ask for.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music. My playlist has everything ranging from Ray Charles to Metallica to Don Omar to Justin Bieber. I prefer comedy movies but am also a sucker for a good chick flick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as a bear handler at Baylor University.

Teach, Learn, Share

For anyone that has time, I would love to teach the sport of disc golf (aka frisbee golf, or just frolf). It is a sport that has relieved a lot of stress in my life and allowed me to engage the outdoors even in big cities. I have found that most people have never heard of it, so let’s change that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and experiences and life with guests. I am happy to cook a meal or show the sights, although I have to admit I am not a very good tour guide of the Dallas area since I’ve always lived in the burbs or away in Waco.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
