Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people and get a more local experience while traveling. I've been couchsurfing before, by arranging through friends of friends. I've hosted and also been the guest. Everyone involved really enjoyed it and it was very interesting. It has lead to long-lasting friendships. I can also help advise people on the places that I've already been to. I have lived in Canada and the UK, so can give more advice on those countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to basically anything except country pop-music. I even enjoy listening to music in different languages such as French, Spanish, Japanese and beautiful Bulgarian.
Similar to music I enjoy watching films from different countries. I find that each country has its own style, which I like.
I also like documentaries and travel shows, especially by Anthony Bourdain.
I mostly read non-fiction such as history, politics and science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew a helicopter once, really interesting being able to go in essentially any direction.

Share experience and advice about places that I've lived in or traveled to, Really passionate about cooking and will adapt to the host preference. For example if you're vegan, we can look into making vegan dishes.
