About Me
When I'm not working, I'm traveling the world. I have an infatuation with Europe and its history. Probably because of my strong Austrian and Czech roots. I love watching sport events, enjoying a delicious beer as well as eating all of the local food. I know a lot about beer since I was a brewer for many years. I'm always down to talk alcohol, how it's made and my experience with it!
I also host my own podcast sub series. My show is "The Awkward Throat Clear" and if you search Not After 30 you can find my show. We even won a Canadian Podcasting Award :) Maybe if we hit it off and you're game, I can interview you :D
I am very new to couch surfing and am excited to try it out! I sadly cannot host when I am in Canada for I live at government accommodation, which only allows government employees.
However I am more than happy to give advice and tips! I have been to much of Canada and know a lot of people and cool places!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new connections, get to know locals, their culture and get sound advice.
I dream about having my own "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown" TV series on traveling, food and alcohol. One can dream eh?

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very relaxed and enjoy fun discussions on world events, politics, sport and history. If you like hockey or beer, we can talk for hours about that too. I am a gracious guest, I don't mind helping with chores and I like to surprise with a dessert, some food or some alcohol. I don't mind baking either if you don't mind me in the kitchen, I promise it won't blow up haha!
