I want to learn and experience something new everyday...and I want to share these experiences with new and old friends, family, and my children.

I love to try new things.
And I love to soak in the things that really bring me peace, calm, and happiness... the outdoors, the mountains, the ocean, gardening, campfires... And they're all better shared with family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmm, gonna really need to put more time to this one... In short, I try to live a life of service to others, my family, my friends, random people...it's just good karma...to pay it forward.
So many random people have been so good to me...it's good to return the kindness.

I'm new to CS. But As I travel, I'll hope to find people willing to share what really makes where they live special to them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, a couchsurfer organized metro party and a flashmob pillow fight... Both in Paris, and both were a blast!

Intereses

Ahhh, the outdoors!
I also really enjoy learning about the history of places before I visit them, then seeing where things happened.
I enjoy learning languages as I travel, even though I'm just getting started on this hobby.
I love growing vegetables.

Both are great books of short essays of analogies of nature to mankind and societies. A little philosophical and biological at the same time.
Animal, Vegetable, Miracle....it speaks to the aspiring vegetable gardener in me :)

I spent 2 winters in the Bering Sea working as a Crab Fisherman...a very long time ago...and never again.

I taught my daughters to ride their bicycles last summer :D
