I really enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. My particular area of "expertise" would be sports and exercise. You name it I've probably tried to play it or watch it regularly. Some favourites of mine are: basketball, cricket, football, rugby, tennis, bit of NFL, I'm great at pool - I dare you to challenge me ;)

Every now and then I go running. I think one of the best ways of getting to know an area and exploring it is by running around it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore the world, immerse myself in culture and make some new friends along the way! :)

I have only been introduced to couchsurfing recently but I love the concept of it and the community of people that it brings together. I can't help but want to be a part of that. To meet like-minded individuals that share my taste for adventure and exploration.

I have a dream that one day I'm going to run out of pages in my passport because I will have traveled to every country in the world! So far my travels have been limited to Europe and South Asia but I'm hoping to change that in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything that I can dance to! But mainly R&B, pop and a bit of electronic music when I'm in the gym also. I also enjoy listening to Spanish/Portuguese music; I don't understand much of the lyrics yet but I'm hoping to change that. I love to sing along to my favourite songs too (even if I may not be that good at it). I recently went to an Ed Sheeran concert and I lost my voice the next day haha

Movies: Kind of weird, but I loved Forrest Gump. I don't watch too many movies right now, but I'd love to be introduced to some new films. In general though, I'm always up for an action film or a comedy. But I particularly like movies or TV shows where something needs to be solved; which is why I love shows like Suits, Sherlock and House. If you watch The Office then we will instantly become best friends. But you'll never catch me watching a horror movie; I'm way too jumpy for that haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently climbed Mount Snowdon! It was an amazing experience that really ignited a flame in me to do more hiking in the future. I'm really interested in completing the Three Peaks challenge in the UK now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to many countries in my life so far. I have made many memories with both family and friends that I would love to share with other surfers.
Whoever chooses to stay over can fit quite comfortably on the bunk bed I have in the spare room; either 1 on each bunk or more if you're feeling cosy. Here we can talk about anything and everything over a hot cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, whatever you fancy really.
