Hello dear travellers out there!
My name is Aaron. I have just returned from being overseas for a year and in the process of taking over the running of a certified organic orchard in the far north.
I live up a beautiful valley called Honey Moon valley where I have a house in the bush and live basically completely off grid. Water comes from stream, power from the sun and heat from gas and a wet back fire. As such this is the kind of place for adventurous travellers who are able to live without certain creature comforts like 240 volt power and WiFi!
I often have quite a few wwoffers so the house is set up more like a hostel style home with communal kitchen and hang out areas. There are often at least a few spare couches or tents set up in the bush. My home is open to those looking for a place to stay or park your van (if you have one) in this beautiful secluded part of the world and to come and share your stories and your energy with us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I was travelling I found couch surfing a great way to meet locals and see how people live in different parts of the world and what kind of things they face in their lives.
As a host I like to have people around from all over the world to hear your stories and be inspired by and to show others what I'm up to here, and have an experience of a different way of living.
There is also currently not much young, fresh energy in this part of the world and I am doing what I can to change that 😜

Interests

I am passionate about creating self sustainable solutions to how we live our lives, socially, economically and environmentally.
I am curious and open minded about what humans get up to in their lives.
I love being outdoors and walking in mountains. And sometimes being still and quite and contemplative.
I enjoy engaging in passionate conversation, and sharing of ideas, good music, driving and adventuring.
