About Me

Firstly, thank you so much for taking your time to read my profile! I hope you find what you are looking for!
My family and friends would describe me as: friendly; energetic; caring; empathetic; passionate; determined; adaptable; and loyal.
I left home (London, UK) at 19 and have had many experiences living in numerous places over the last 9 years.
Through my time spent within many different environments and with many different kinds of people, I have grown to embrace the beauty and generosity found in all walks of life.
I have only the most respect for the people who have chosen to host me over the years, in various forms.
I am no stranger to the concept of fairness within a mutual exchange between hosts and guests. At this stage in my life, I have absolutely no desire for a free ride and absolutely insist that I pay my way.
As long as clear boundries and expectations are established beforehand and met; I will go above and beyond to adapt and prove to be an excellent addition to my host's environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list! I have wide-ranging tastes in a lot of things. My main taste in music is mostly funk-orientated, bluesy, jammy kinda stuff.
I'm currently reading a book called Full Tilt, about an Irish lady who cycled by herself from Dublin to Delhi back in the 60s!
One favourite film that comes to mind is Easy Rider...probably what triggered me to change a lot in my life when I was 18 years old....I left home at 19...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Became a citizen of a foreign country, learnt their language, and served in their army.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would consider myself a Jack of all trades, but not a master of none. I'm incredibly adaptable and can thrive in many different environments.
Qualified British English teacher (TEFL);
Musically talented (can teach guitar, etc.);
Excellent people skills;
Great marketing & sales skills (in various forms);
IT skills;
and more.
