I'm an easy going and open minded guy. I try as much as I can to step out of my comfort zone in order to grow as a person.
Taking risks is always challenging but if never taken there is always regrets and wonder to what could have been, so I try to do and see as much as possible.

After travelling around Europe and living mostly between NL and UK I am currently settled in Amsterdam.

I have met many fellow couchsurfers and stayed with a few over our journeys and feel that we are now in a position to offer a couch to others, I work a lot still but will try to make time for the right surfers :)

This app is absolutely amazing for meeting like minded people from all over the world, be that in another country or from the comfort of your own home. I've made many friends and incredible stories with the help of couchsurfing.
It's great to experience the real life of another country through somebody elses eyes by staying in somebody's home, trying their food, hearing their stories, instead of following the flock to touristic traps from a soul-less hotel.

Lived in a tent for 2 months on a farm in Amsterdam after planning to visit for 2 nights

Cycled from Rotterdam to Amsterdam on a broken bike with all of my possessions on my back

Seen the Alps (from a distance but plan to get closer soon)

Quit my job to go travelling and haven't looked back
