Overview
About Me
I grew up and went to university in upstate New York, and lived and worked in NYC ever since.
I spent about a year or two knowing I wanted to do some serious long term traveling, and finally made that a reality in July of '15. I put everything in storage, resigned from my job, and have been on the road ever since.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part of traveling is meeting people along the way.
My best memories are not of the things I've seen, but of the shared experiences I've had with new friends I've met.
As a solo traveler I find it can be fairly difficult to meet people at hostels, especially in popular destinations where a majority of the backpacker population is traveling as couples or in insular groups.
That's why I'm on Couchsurfing - to meet you, have some laughs, and make some great memories!
Interests
Vary greatly day-to-day and month-to-month. Here's a partial list:
Photography, running, triathloning, hiking, snowboarding, live-music (I photograph for an organization called Sofar Sounds, I highly recommend you check them out), SCUBA.
I love great coffee, beer and comedy.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a good listener, and someone who my friends often come to for advice on everything and anything (like I know).
I've learned so much in the last year, and love sharing knowledge I've gained about the places I've visited.
Being a photog-nerd, I'm always happy to teach you to work a camera and to edit what you've shot in Lightroom.
